another new part...
ok guys just got a new part on the truck...
Catco High-Flow Catalytic Converter...
had jet muffler install it. made my truck sound just a notch louder but still maintained a nice deep tone...and the performance was deffinitly noticeable. i got on it once tonight (waited for the cooler air, and tom can back me on this) and i deffinitly felt the increase in power. it wasnt a HUGE increase but was alot better. did a 5-50mph in about 4 secs, damn good for a 4cyl pickup i think. sounds good feels good lets just see how the mpg goes should do better (as long as i stay off my lead foot, lol)
im happy with thats for sure...i think thats it for exhaust upgrades right now, just untill someone makes a header system for the 2.8.
next performance mod is short ram intake and tb spacer, better plugs (and wires maybe), and whatever else i think of l8tr
no pics this time but ill get under body pics soon

Re: another new part...
not too much $140 for the cat and install and a new pipe to extend to the flange...the oem cat was smaller and it was located directly after the crossmember so they had to cut the pipe a little further back and then right after the cat.
so yeah oh and when i said it is "a little louder", well i lied...i had my windows up then...i mashed it once today from 5mph all windows down...yeah i couldnt hear my damn music on max volume...its so awesome i love it and the response and accelaration is alot better too...and gas mph!!!! money well spent...cant wait to test it on the highway... who wants a ride?
